Modification of these terms and conditions
matterz.ro reserves the right to change these terms, by changing the version and date of adoption of the new regulation without completing other formalities.
Governing law
The rights and obligations of the parties, imposed by the present terms and conditions, as well as all the legal effects that this agreement produces will be interpreted and governed by the Romanian law in force.
Any dispute concerning this agreement will revert to the competent Romanian courts in general, material and territorial terms.
Registration on the site
Registration on the site is done exclusively if the Customer wants to access the e-learning modules. The registration is made by the site administrator only after the user sends a message to the e-mail address:
Keep your password secure, as you are responsible for any activity associated with your account. If you suspect that someone else is using your account, let us know.
When you set up and maintain your account, you must provide and continue to provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address. You have full responsibility for your account and everything that happens on it, including any damage or injury (caused to us or others) caused by a person using your account without your permission. This means that you must be careful with your password.
You must not transfer your account to another person or use someone else's account without that person's permission. If you contact us to request access to an account, we will not grant you such access unless you can provide us with the login information for that account. In the event of a user's death, that user's account will be closed.
If you share your account login data with another person, you are responsible for what happens to your account.
Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account on our site. If you are not old enough, you cannot create an account, but we encourage you to invite a parent or guardian to open an account and help you sign up for the right modules for you.
The site administrator generates and provides the Customer with a username and password, after the Customer has ordered one or more e-learning modules and paid their full price.
After communicating the username and password, the Customer can enter the platform, where it can add the following information: e-mail address, name, username (optional with photo), address, phone number, web page, favourite book, short personal description, date of birth. At the same time, it will be able to change its access password.
You can close your account at any time.
Ordering e-learning modules
www.matterz.ro does not have a built-in webshop or the possibility to pay by card.
The order of the e-learning modules is made by sending an email, after which the administrator contacts the interested person and issues the invoice for the full price of the e-learning modules.
Payment for e-learning modules is made by bank transfer to the current account of the company, after the acceptance by the Customer (even electronically) of these Terms and Conditions. In exceptional cases, e-learning modules can also be paid at the company's headquarters or at the lucrative facility, in which case the customer will receive both an invoice and a tax receipt.
User rights and obligations
When you sign up for an e-learning module, you receive a license from us. Do not attempt to transfer or resell the modules in any way.
The modules are offered to you under license and not sold. This license does not give you any right to resell the module in any way (including by sharing account information with a buyer or illegally downloading the module and distributing it on torrent sites).
We grant you (as a user) a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the courses and the associated content for which you have paid all necessary fees, exclusively for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes, in accordance with these Terms and any conditions or restrictions associated with a particular course or feature of our services. Any other use is expressly prohibited. You may not reproduce, redistribute, transmit, assign, sell, distribute, rent, share, borrow, modify, adapt, edit, create derivative works, sublicense or transfer or use in any other way any course, unless we give you explicit permission for them, through a written agreement signed by an authorized representative of ours.
We will apply these Terms at our discretion. We may terminate or suspend your permission to use our site and services or prohibit your account at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms, if you do not pay any fees when due, upon the request of law enforcement or government agencies, due to extended periods of inactivity, due to unexpected technical issues or if we suspect that you are involved in fraudulent or illegal activities.
In the event of such termination, we may delete your account and prevent you from further accessing the Site as well as using our Services.
Prices
We run regular promotions and discounts for our modules, and some courses are valid at reduced prices only for a fixed period of time. The price applicable to a module will be the price from the moment of completion of its purchase (when sending the order).
You agree that by registering, accessing and using our services, you agree to enter into a contract with us for legal purposes. If you do not agree to these Terms, you shall not register, access or otherwise use any of our Services.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under the applicable law, then that provision will be deemed to be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision covering as much of the intent of the original provision as possible, and the remainder of these Terms will continue to remain in force.
Even if we delay the exercise of our rights or do not exercise a certain right, this does not mean that we waive our rights under these Terms and may decide to apply them in the future. If we decide to waive any of our rights in a particular case, this does not mean that we will generally waive our rights in the future.
